What are cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies (such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels) are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the correct operation of the site.
Through these technologies, the web server can remember certain data about the user, such as their display preferences, their username and password or the products they are most interested in.
Cookies affected by the regulations and exempted cookies

| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Delete cookies from the device | Cookies already on a device can be removed by clearing the browser history, which deletes cookies from all visited sites. However, some saved information may also be lost (for example, login data or website preferences). |
| Manage site-specific cookies | For more precise control of each site’s cookies, the user can adjust their privacy and cookie settings in the browser. |
| Block cookies | Most modern browsers can be set to prevent cookies from being installed, although this may require manually adjusting certain preferences on each visit, and some services and features may not work correctly (for example, profile logins). |
